Kamal Haasan briefly met award-winning filmmaker Pa Ranjith, with whom he reportedly explored collaborating on a movie. According to reports, kamal haasan liked the director's storey idea and requested a full script. However, no formal word has been issued on the subject. Haasan is currently filming Vikram, which is directed by lokesh Kanagaraj. The film's preview was published on his birthday, setting great standards among audiences. 


The film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. The theme of Kanagaraj's film is based on Kamal Haasan's 1986 thriller film of the same name. kamal haasan recently announced that he is also writing a screenplay for malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan to shoot. The papanasam actor revealed the news after praising Mahesh Narayanan's Malik and attending a private screening in Madras. If everything goes according to plan, kamal haasan will begin work on Pa Ranjith's project when the vikram shoot is completed.


Keerthy suresh is expected to be part of this project along with kamal haasan and if this is true, Keerthy suresh will become the first heroine to share screen space with both the legendary actors in Tamil. Even though, trisha had that honour, she did merely a cameo in 'Petta' and it was not considered a full-fledged role.
