Meteorological Department officials have warned that the low-pressure area in the Bay of bengal will turn into a hurricane tomorrow. The current low-pressure area in the andaman Sea continues west-northwest, further strengthening in the east-central Bay of Bengal. 

After that, it will turn into an air bubble and will strengthen into a storm tomorrow. It is expected to cross the Uttaranchal-Odisha coast on the morning of december 4.


Saudi Arabia has named the storm Jawad Cyclone. Srikakulam, vijayanagaram and Visakhapatnam are likely to receive heavy rains from tomorrow due to Typhoon Javad. 


There is also a warning of heavy rains in some places in both the Godavari districts. The IMD said winds could reach 80-90 kilometres per hour along the coast. 


Fishermen are advised not to go hunting and people in the hinterland are advised to stay in safe places. The government has appealed to farmers to protect their crops that are ready for harvest.
