Dileep's anticipatory bail hearing in the alleged sexual assault has been rescheduled till Tuesday. On Friday, the kerala High court postponed the case, citing the necessity for more research into the new allegations leveled against the actor. The police also told the court that dileep would not be arrested until that day. This is a huge relief for Actor dileep and he can breathe easily until then.

For the uninitiated, filmmaker Balachandrakumar has made some new allegations in the assault case against actor Dileep. The lawsuit purportedly involves dileep and five others, notably his brother and brother-in-law. The criminal division has filed a new complaint against the malayalam celebrity in the actress' kidnapping case based on this information.

Speaking to reporters recently, Balachandrakumar remarked, "That person has gone so far as to propose that the police officers should be verbally insulted in front of a minister. He has a good relationship with the minister. He used to declare that the only way he could be satisfied was to trash officials in front of the minister. He also intends to go after the officials. I refer to him as a VIP because he wields power over individuals from all walks of life."
