K. Balakrishnan was unanimously re-elected as the Marxist Communist Party's (CPI (M)) tamil Nadu State Secretary. "The 23rd tamil Nadu State Conference of the Marxist Communist party was convened in madurai from march 30 to april 1," according to a press release. 79 people were elected to the 80-member State Committee today, the last day of the conference.
