On monday morning, an ethylene oxide tanker crashed on a major route in pune, Maharashtra, resulting in a dangerous discharge. The event occurred in a densely populated neighbourhood, prompting worries about citizens' safety. If breathed, ethylene oxide is a combustible and highly reactive gas that can cause major health concerns. The pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has dispatched eight fire tenders to the location to avert a fire and contain the leak.
To contain the leak, the tanker is being continuously sprayed with water. reliance Petrochemicals Company's rescue and repair team is anticipated to arrive soon to examine the situation and take appropriate measures. Traffic travel in the region is slowed as a result of the event. The police have recommended drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
