During the sankranti holidays in january, intermediate colleges in hyderabad and other telangana regions will be closed for four days. The telangana State Board of Intermediate education (TS BIE) declared the vacation on Saturday.

Sankranti holidays for colleges in Telangana

According to the TS BIE notification, colleges in telangana will be closed for the sankranti holidays from january 13 to 16, with a reopening on january 17.

Government, private aided and unaided, co-operative, TS Residential, Social Welfare Residential, Tribal Welfare Residential, Model Schools, bc Welfare, KGBVs, and Incentive junior colleges are all eligible for the holiday.

The college administration has been directed not to hold courses during the sankranti holidays, and any infractions will be treated severely and dealt with appropriately.


Schools in hyderabad declared sankranti holidays

Meanwhile, schools in hyderabad and other telangana districts will be closed for six days from january 12 to 17. Schools will prepare for formative assessment 4 after the break.

The state government has scheduled sankranti vacations for schools and colleges, as well as extra breaks for Hazrath Ali's birthday (optional) on january 25 and Republic Day on january 26.

On january 26, educational institutions in hyderabad and other telangana districts will fly the indian flag in the morning before closing for the day.
