Former bihar chief minister and RJD leader Lalu prasad Yadav has ignited controversy with provocative comments about prime minister Narendra Modi. Lalu prasad asserted that the prime minister is not a Hindu .Accusing Modi of attacking family politics, Lalu prasad pointed out that the prime minister lacks a family, emphasizing that according to Hindu customs, one should shave when their mother passes away, yet Modi hasn't.

Lalu prasad Yadav also alleged that Modi's criticisms of family politics stem from his own lack of a family and children, boldly stating that the prime minister is not a Hindu. The RJD leader accused Modi of fuelling hatred across the country. These comments were made during the 'Jan vishwas Rally' in Patna, bihar, organized under the leadership of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

In response, former deputy cm of bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, defended his father Lalu prasad Yadav, claiming that all bjp leaders are deceivers and accused Modi of indirectly questioning why he doesn't praise his father's deeds. Tejashwi Yadav highlighted Lalu's achievements as the chief minister of bihar and the minister of Railways, criticizing Modi's claims about the state of railways during Lalu's tenure. The political discourse further intensified, with Tejashwi Yadav condemning bjp leaders as liars. The comments from Lalu prasad Yadav have added fuel to the already charged political environment.
