This year's great popular malayalam film Aavesham was released during Eid. It starred Fahadh Faasil and grossed about Rs. 36 crore in india during its debut week, which lasted eight days. It brought in around USD 3.50 million (approximately Rs. 29 crores) from overseas, for a total revenue of roughly Rs. 65 crores globally. By tuesday or wednesday of next week, Aavesham is predicted to cross the Rs. 100 crore milestone. The movie has a good chance of being the eighth malayalam film to make more than 100 crores.

A remarkable year for malayalam cinema, 2024 saw the release of four of these seven films. Premalu, Manjummel Boys, Aadujeevitham (The GOAT Life), and now Aavesham are those four flicks. Even industry experts were taken aback when Aavesham in kerala made Rs. 28 crore in its first eight days of business, earning consistently even over the week. Aavesham did well outside of kerala as well, bringing in Rs. 2.75 crore in tamil Nadu and Rs. 3.75 crore in Karnataka.

Since its publication, Aavesham by Fahad Faasil has received positive reviews. Jithu madhavan is the director of this action-comedy, in which Fahadh Faasil plays the lead role of Ranga. It's performing well and might be Vishu's biggest movie in 2024. It earned about Rs. 21.5 crore globally in just two days. It made almost Rs. 10.82 crore worldwide on the second day. Thus, it surpassed Rs. 21.5 crore globally in just two days. Compared to other Vishu releases like "Varshangalkku Shesham" and "Jai Ganesh," it is performing better.
