On april 13, jagan was injured by a stone while participating in a "Memantha Siddham" campaign rally at Vivekananda school Centre in Singh Nagar, Vijayawada.
 

The authorities identified the perpetrator as Satish, a member of the vaddera community. He was caught mere days after the event and has been in jail for more than six weeks. Meanwhile, Satish filed a bail plea, and the 8th Additional district Court in vijayawada held an investigation into it earlier today. Advocate Salim, who represented Satish, maintained that he was innocent and had been wrongly implicated by the police. After hearing the reasons, the magistrate reserved his decision, which is scheduled to be released today.
