On May 26, 2025, the first look at adivi sesh and Mrunal Thakur's Dacoit was made public.  Toward the end of the most recent preview, the movie's release date was also confirmed: december 25, 2025.  Adivi's voiceover opens the glimpse, referring to a person named Juliet and stating that she was wrongfully wronged by everyone.  Adivi laughs as he declares that he would ruin Juliet, even if he insists he won't do the same. 

We catch glimpses of the main characters, such as Adivi, Mrunal, and Anurag Kashyap, in between the voiceover.  Anurag shows there looking irate, and Mrunal is seen with tears in her eyes.  Nevertheless, Adivi is seen grinning, which may appear to be a typical expression, but it may conceal some secret.  It's unclear if the trailer will be captivating enough to draw viewers in, even though the preview is intense and Adivi is also the film's writer. 

Additionally, the movie was concurrently filmed in hindi, so if the advertising materials are strong, it could fare well in North India.  However, it will also be up against fierce competition on Christmas.  Alpha, the upcoming part of YRF Spy Universe, featuring alia bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, is also premiering on december 25, 2025.  Another well-known brand is the Spy Universe, whose next movie, war 2, will be released on august 14, 2025. 

People might be more interested in seeing Alpha if war 2 turns out to be a huge hit and the filmmakers include a glimpse of Alpha in the movie, similar to what they did in tiger 3.  Despite not being as well-known in india as Allu Arjun, Adivi received plaudits for his role in Major, a 2022 film that was also filmed in Hindi.  In the same year, Mrunal Thakur received recognition for her efforts in Sita Ramam, which is located across from Dulquer Salmaan. 

The producers must develop a teaser and a few songs that will appeal to the North indian market if they want to attract hindi listeners.  The only way Dacoit can have the same favorable response as Alpha in North indian markets is to use new promotional techniques this time.
