Fans weren't overly thrilled when it was first revealed that the Maxwell Lord-sponsored superhero team that will be introduced in james Gunn's Superman would be called the "Justice Gang." However, this most recent teaser confirms that it won't be a permanent name—unless Gardner gets his way. The team will consist of Green Lantern Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion), Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced), and Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi).

All three team members are shown in the short teaser as they assist David Corenswet's character, the Man of Steel, in defeating the fire-breathing Kaiju.  A bystander is informed by Gardner that his organization is known as the Justice Gang, but Hawkgirl promptly explains that this is only a "working name."  This trio (together with Superman) is thought to eventually serve as the foundation for the Justice League or Justice Society, with Supes eventually bringing the former together with Batman, Wonder Woman, and so on.

Superman's first weekend box office receipts were expected to be between $95 million and $135 million.  Pre-sales of the film have already brought in over $10 million.  Nicholas Hoult plays Lex Luthor, Anthony Carrigan plays Metamorpho, and rachel Brosnahan plays Lois Lane in the DCU relaunch.
