Hindi Row:  Congress's reaction has come after the joint celebration of shiv sena (UBT) and MNS on the withdrawal of the order to implement hindi language in Maharashtra. Congress, while advising the thackeray brothers, said that it was not just the fight of the thackeray brothers, but many sections of the state opposed it. Congress also kept a distance from the possible political unity of the two.

After protests against the government's decision to implement hindi in schools in maharashtra, the government had to withdraw its order. Regarding this decision, shiv sena (Uddhav faction) chief uddhav thackeray and MNS chief Raj thackeray organized a joint Vijay Rally on Saturday and called it their victory. But now the congress has surrounded the thackeray brothers by saying that this fight was not only theirs, but many sections of the entire state opposed this decision.

Congress' statement Senior congress leader prithviraj Chavan said that if uddhav and Raj thackeray want to take the credit for withdrawing this decision, then let them take it. But there was a protest against this decision across the state. If both of them come together politically, then best wishes from our side. Also, maharashtra congress President Harshvardhan Sapkal said that the celebration of the withdrawal of GR (government order) and the possible political unity of the thackeray brothers are two different issues.

Sapkal also claimed that he had written letters to about 600 people from different parts of the state and called upon them to unite against this decision. He also held several meetings with educationists and Marathi language experts. Sapkal said that everyone protested together against the decision to implement hindi language from the first class. This is not just the victory of the thackeray brothers; it was the voice of the entire Maharashtra.

It is worth noting that the fadnavis government of maharashtra had issued an order in june that hindi would be taught as the third language in schools from the first class. As soon as it was accused of weakening the Marathi languagethere was widespread protest. Due to this, the government withdrew these orders on june 29. Although the thackeray brothers are calling it a victory of the people and are hinting at fighting elections together in the future, the congress has made it clear that the credit for this movement cannot be given to any one party.
