Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin has strongly condemned the recent acts of violence against minority communities in the states of Chhattisgarh and Assam, stating that such attacks are completely unacceptable in a democratic and secular country like India.

In a firm statement, the chief minister expressed deep concern over reports of violence targeting minority populations and emphasized that religious intolerance and hatred have no place in indian society. He said that India’s strength lies in its diversity and unity, and any attempt to intimidate or harm people based on their religion or identity goes against the fundamental values enshrined in the Constitution.

Chief minister stalin urged the respective state governments to take immediate and decisive action to protect minority communities and ensure that those responsible for the violence are brought to justice. He stressed that maintaining law and order and safeguarding the rights of all citizens, irrespective of their faith, is the primary responsibility of the government.

He further stated that the central and state governments must work together to prevent the spread of communal violence and uphold peace and harmony across the country. According to him, silence or inaction in the face of such incidents only encourages further unrest and undermines public trust.

Reaffirming tamil Nadu’s long-standing commitment to secularism, social justice, and inclusivity, chief minister stalin said that his government will always stand firmly against discrimination and violence. He also appealed to the public to reject hatred and misinformation, and instead promote mutual respect, tolerance, and brotherhood.

The Chief Minister’s condemnation comes amid growing concerns over communal tensions in parts of the country, highlighting the need for proactive governance and collective efforts to preserve India’s pluralistic fabric.
