Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin has directed officials to complete development works worth ₹3,291 crore being carried out by six key departments, including youth Welfare and school education, by the end of February. The instruction was issued during a high-level review meeting aimed at assessing the progress of ongoing government projects across the state.

The chief minister emphasized the importance of timely completion of these projects, stating that delays would affect public welfare and development goals. He instructed department heads and senior officials to closely monitor the progress of works and remove any administrative or technical hurdles that could slow down implementation.

The projects under review span six departments, with a major focus on youth welfare, school education, infrastructure development, and public services. These initiatives include construction and upgradation of school buildings, sports facilities for youth, hostels, classrooms, and other essential infrastructure aimed at improving access to quality education and opportunities for young people.

Chief minister stalin stressed that these projects are directly linked to the well-being of students and youth, and therefore must be completed with quality and efficiency. He also directed officials to ensure transparency in fund utilization and adherence to prescribed standards while executing the works.

Reviewing the financial outlay, the chief minister noted that ₹3,291 crore has been allocated to accelerate development and strengthen public infrastructure. He reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and improving social indicators through focused investments in education and youth development.

Officials assured the chief minister that necessary steps are being taken to meet the february deadline. Regular inspections, progress reports, and coordination among departments have been planned to ensure smooth execution.

The directive reflects the tamil Nadu government’s proactive approach to governance and its focus on delivering timely benefits to the people through effective implementation of development projects.
