Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin has called upon citizens to celebrate and uphold the spirit of India’s diversity and pluralism, emphasizing that unity in diversity is the country’s greatest strength.
In a message shared on the occasion of a national celebration, the chief minister highlighted India’s rich cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity, describing it as the foundation of the nation’s democratic and secular character. He urged people to respect differences and work together to protect the values enshrined in the Constitution.
Stalin noted that India’s pluralistic identity has evolved over centuries, shaped by multiple traditions, beliefs, and cultures. He stressed that preserving this diversity is essential for social harmony, national integration, and inclusive development.
Reaffirming the tamil Nadu government’s commitment to social justice and equality, the chief minister said policies and governance must reflect compassion, fairness, and respect for all communities. He added that true patriotism lies in safeguarding democratic principles and ensuring dignity for every citizen.
Concluding his message, M.K. stalin appealed to people, especially the younger generation, to actively participate in building a progressive, inclusive, and harmonious society. “Let us celebrate the many identities that make india unique and stand united in our shared values,” he said.
