He wanted to learn violin but his father said that he should learn piano and he said he should go to America to study and he said he should go to Britain. He wanted to be an architect but his father wanted him to be an engineer, said Ratan Tata. After her 2nd marriage, her relationship with her mother deteriorated drastically. While the father and son were constantly in conflict, ratan tata went to study at Cornell university in the united states of his choice and said that the whole reason for this was his grandmother. First, he registered to study mechanical engineering at Cornell university in the United States. He did but graduated as an architect.He said he met the girl he loved while he was in Los Angeles, and he fell in love while he was in Los Angeles, and he was going to marry that girl. But at that time his grandmother's health was bad so he had to return to India. He thought his girlfriend would also come with him to india, but in 1962 when india went to war with China, his girlfriend's mother and father did not allow her to come to india, and thus their relationship broke.After that, he did not meet his girlfriend and after that, he did not want to fall in love with someone else. ratan tata fell in love with the business.
