Man uses police mother's rifle to kill two...?


There was a fierce shootout on thursday (April 17) at the florida State university (FSU) campus. Two people were killed and five were injured in the incident. The main accused involved in this horrific attack has been identified. The name of the 20-year-old accused is Phoenix Echner. He is the son of Leon County Deputy Jessica Echner.

Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil informed in a press conference that the accused had used his mother's gun to attack. police have recovered the weapon from the spot. McNeil said, "This incident is extremely regrettable for the law enforcement department. However, we will ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the state or country."

The firing was reported at 12:30 pm (EDT) on Thursday. The Tallahassee police Department announced on X at 4:10 pm that the FSU campus had been secured. The police department said that after the shooting incident, people present on the campus were safely taken to the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center with the help of a bus.
