Importance of Martyr’s Day or Shaheed Diwas..!

Many freedom fighters have fought for the independence of india from british rule. They have given us happy freedom by swimming their lives. To commemorate the bold leaders, Martyrs' Day is celebrated annually on january 30. This Martyr's day is also known as Shaheed Diwas. On the same day, in 1948, our father of the Nation, mahatma gandhi, was assassinated by the man Godse at the age of 78.

Mahatma gandhi was one of the most important and prominent freedom fighters in India. He fought peacefully for non-violence and achieved peaceful freedom. We have made the day of Gandhi's death a common day for all martyrs. This has been marked on january 30th in remembrance of mahatma gandhi who got us freedom.
Today, the President, Vice President, Prime minister, and minister of Defence pay their respects at the mahatma gandhi Memorial in Rajkot, Delhi. The leaders of the three forces are also expected to pay their respects to them. In turn, the event organizers plan to have a fast throughout the day and no candles.
Gandhi has once said that there is no greater shame than to refuse to accept the mistakes. Virtue is the main basis of everything and also Truth is the basis of that virtue.
