On behalf of chennai Corporation, an awareness camp on Corona Infection Prevention, Dental Care, and Plastic Avoidance was held at Perambur Girls' High School. Meenakshi Ammal Dental college, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Corporation of chennai, held a workshop for students and teachers at the chennai Girls' High school, madhavaram Highway, school Street, Thiruvikanagar Zone, on how to properly prevent and treat dental caries, prevent infection, and protect against plastics, as well as awareness messages.

Dr. Jaideep Mahendra, director of Research and Postgraduate education at Meenakshi Ammal college of Dentistry, was a special visitor at the camp to educate children and instructors on dental care, health issues caused by 14 different types of disposable plastic goods, and alternatives.
