Right to be Heard: Meaning that consumers' interests will receive due treatment at suitable forums. It also includes the right to be represented in a variety of venues established to look out for the interests of consumers.

Right to Redress: To seek compensation for unfair business practices or deceptive customer exploitation. It also contains the right to a just resolution of the customer's sincere complaints.

To gain the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed purchasing decisions throughout one's existence. Consumer ignorance, especially among rural consumers, is the primary factor contributing to their exploitation.
