Facilities at 200 stations
Kiosks are being set up at the station for this purpose. They have been dubbed as 'Railwire Sathi Kiosk'. Currently, the facility will be available at 200 railway stations. If passengers are waiting for the train or waiting for someone to come, they can go to this kiosk and make Aadhaar or PAN card.
The facility started at 2 stations
Not only this, at these stations, passengers will also get the facility to recharge their phones and pay their electricity bills. At present this facility has been started at 2 stations of North Eastern Railway. Also, this facility will be available at other stations soon.
Marking stations
Common service center kiosks are being set up by Railtel at 200 railway stations across the country. This facility is being introduced at other major stations. Stations are being marked for this.
Other facilities will also be available
A tax payment facility will also be available at this kiosk. In addition, train, flight and bus tickets can also be booked. There you will find banking, insurance and many more.
Small government work will be done on CSC
The government has started opening Common service Centers (CSCs) to handle small government work at the local level. This requires a license from the government. These are the places where electricity bills, phone bills, phone recharges, insurance, Aadhaar and PAN cards are made.
