Whenever the amount of sodium in the body starts increasing, then the blood pressure also starts getting high. If you think that only salt is responsible for this, then it is not so. There are many reasons for high BP. From smoking to excessive consumption of alcohol, obesity, stress, lack of sleep, kidney disease etc. Sometimes the reason for high bp is also genetics.

If your eating habits are messed up along with these above-mentioned problems, then understand that you have to face a bp problem. If you are a patient with hypertension or you are in danger, then you will need to cut at least 6 more things from the diet along with salt.

Sugar- If you think that sugar only poses danger to diabetics, then you have to change your thinking. sugar and things made from it are secretly increasing bp in the body. sugar increases the risk of weight and diabetes and both these problems are responsible for BP. 

Bread- Things made from maida like bread, pizza or burger etc. are also responsible for blood pressure. If you have used cheese, butter and mayonnaise in bread or burger, then understand that you are working to make bp higher. Both sodium and oil are high in these things. Also, stay away from eating any preservatives as both salt and sugar are high in it.

Processed Meat- Processed meat contains more sodium than required. To preserve them for a long time, more salt is used. Even though you may like them in taste, but they are very dangerous for health.

Coffee- Caffeine is highest in coffee and it is not right to take any energy drink like coffee those who have high BP. 

Peanut Butter- Peanuts are not only fat but also work to increase BP. The sodium present in it slowly increases the bp in the body. If you are eating peanut butter consider it healthy, then stop it immediately for those who have bp problems.
