So right there his production down is all set to work on the biopic of lawyer and politician Sankaran Nair. Although karan johar has not made any official announcement about this yet, many types of news are coming out in the media regarding the film.
Sankaran Nair was seen in an active role during british rule in India. According to the report, akshay kumar and ananya pandey have been signed for this film. While Akshay will be seen playing the late lawyer-activist, ananya will play a junior lawyer in the film.
Though ananya has not officially signed for the film yet, according to reports, the actress's name has been finalized for the film. If this happens, then this will be the first time that ananya and Akshay will be seen together in a film. The report states that the courtroom drama film is titled 'The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair'. It will be directed by director karan Singh Tyagi.
In the year 1897, in the session held in Amravati, he also took over the post of President of the indian National Congress. The film will reportedly be based on the book 'The Case That Shook the Empire' by raghu and pushpa Part.
