No OTT buyers for this film after box office failure...
Aamir Khan and kareena kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was expected to be one of the highest grossing indian films in 2022 but it did not happen. The film made under the direction of Advait Chandan has been completely rejected by the audience. The film had to struggle hard to earn Rs 50 crore. It is being told that the total earnings of Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office will remain between 60-70 crores.
The film was initially to be streamed on the streaming platform Netflix six months after its release. However, according to a recent report, the aamir khan starrer is not getting any OTT buyers after its poor performance at the box office and even Netflix has backed out of the deal.
A source told bollywood Hungama that the dangal star always wanted Netflix as a streaming platform as he wanted to make a global footprint for his film. Aamir too was adamant that the film will release on Netflix a full six months after its theatrical release. Netflix tried its best to reduce the cost and time duration of OTT release from Aamir Khan."
Netflix finally offered a deal for Rs 50 crore. Aamir continued to pitch the film for Rs 125 crore. According to the source of bollywood Humanga, Netflix decided to back out with talks of Aamir Khan's film.
