The co-producer of the movie Liger with vijay deverakonda and ananya Panday, Charmme Kaur, stated on twitter that she will be stepping away from social media for a while. Tweeted her "Relax, guys! Simply taking a vacation (from social media) will help @PuriConnects recover. Live and let live till things get bigger and better."


The movie reportedly cost above Rs 100 crore to produce, according to media reports. Liger, however, did not perform well at the box office. vijay deverakonda has reportedly made the decision to provide more than Rs 6 crore to the film producers who have incurred a significant loss, according a report from news 18. After the movie's box office failure, he reportedly plans to help Charmme Kaur and the other co-producers.

Manoj Desai, executive director of the renowned maratha Mandir and Gaiety Galaxy, criticised Vijay for his opinions and making fun of the boycott culture a few days ago while addressing to a media blog. He retaliated against the actor since his remark had hurt the movie's advance ticket sales. Desai has since confirmed that Vijay met with him to resolve the issue. Manoj responded when dna India asked him for confirmation, "He has indeed come to see me to clear up any confusion. Please take note that the misunderstanding has been resolved."
