The Al Yankovic Story in a Nutshell: That's Weird It's endearing, odd, humorous, and even a little bit dark. The funny biopic about the eccentric musician who became famous for reworking other artists' music by altering the lyrics was directed by Eric Appel and "Weird Al" Yankovic. It would have done Yankovic's career a great injustice to have it be a drama about his life. Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, a biopic unlike any other viewers will see this year, was created as a result.
