Alphonse Puthren, the filmmaker of premam, is upset over the troll attack on him and his latest film Gold. He warned them on his facebook page after posting his agony there. After premam was released, Alphonse Puthren made a comeback. This time, he went with the comedy gold, starring prithviraj and Nayanthara. However, his film was aggressively trolled on social media and garnered poor reviews. In order to express his displeasure, he deleted his profile image from social media accounts and turned it black. He said that if the trolls kept bothering him, he would turn invisible.
