The plot of Aditya Chopra's film centres on raj meets simran in europe and then pursuing her all the way back to Ludhiana, where love manifests itself.

Jab We Met (2007)

For all the romantics out there, Imtiaz Ali's original love story is a must-see. The most endearing character in the film is Geet, a chatty Bathinda-based Sikhni who meets Aditya Kashyap, a businessman who is grieving. The theme of the film is finding love when you least expect it.

Sisila (1981)

The cult movie Silsila was produced by the renowned director Yash Chopra. From performing the lovely song "Dekha ek khwab" to reciting the well-known and swoon-worthy phrase "Mei aur meri tanhai," amitabh Bachchan.
