In Tollywood, a fresh trend has emerged that has been successful recently on several instances. When the filmmakers are confident in their work, they plan paid premieres in advance of the movie's release. Such paid premieres greatly aided Adivi Sesh's Major last year in generating favourable buzz about the movie. The writer Padmabhushan paid premieres a few days prior to the film's release this year as well.

Despite having a non-star cast, the strong feedback from those screenings helped the movie earn a respectable start on its opening day. The crowd responded favourably to Dhanush's film Sir, which had paid premieres as recently as yesterday. One day prior to its release, the producers of kiran Abbavaram's Vinaro Bhagyamu vishnu Katha are now hosting paid premieres. The movie's producers, bunny vas and Allu Aravind, reportedly seen the finished product lately and were really pleased with it.

The production team is convinced that they have a hit on their hands, and for that reason they are also adhering to the custom of holding paid premieres so that when the movie opens on february 18 there will be a sizable crowd with some good word of mouth.
