DJ Tillu rattled the box office in february 2022, and "Uppena" hit the big screen in february 2021. Similar to how "Bheeshma," which featured Nitin as the lead actor, became a huge hit in february 2020. Every february for the past three years, a popular film has been released. This year, that magic, however, was not reproduced.

There were about 22 movies released in february of this year, although none of them were particularly successful. The month wasn't a total failure, though; there were little glimmers of success.

The first week of february saw the success of the movie "Writer Padmabhushan." suhas was the hero in the film, which earned favourable reviews but did not perform well at the box office. In actuality, it wasn't the movie with the highest expectations among those released that week.

The malayalam version "Buttabomma" and sandeep Kishan's "Michael," both of which were released the same week, were subject to high expectations. Buttabomma and "Michael" both fell short of expectations, and both received negative press on the first day itself.

With the debut of "Amigos," which had high anticipation but fell short of the audience's expectations, the box office experienced yet another shock in the second week. This was kalyan Ram's first triple role film, and since it followed a big-budget hit like "Bimbisara," all eyes were on it. Yet it fell short of expectations. During that same week, flops included films like "Veda," "Pop Corn," "Vasantha Kokila," and "Allanta Doorana."

The third week saw the release of the highly anticipated film "Sir." Although it at first received unfavourable reviews, Dhanush's first telugu movie as a hero exceeded expectations. The movie soon bounced back, and in nine days it had earned 75 crore rupees, making it a global hit.

Generally, "Writer Padmabhushan" and "Sir" movies did well in february, but movies with great expectations like "Michael," "Buttabomma," and "Amigos" underperformed.
