He shared a long note on instagram and wrote pointers on what is going on. His note read, “I am being told as a bad man everywhere because of my silence. I have kept calm because all this tamasha will be read by my little kids somewhere.” Writing in pointers, he said, "First of all me and alia have not lived together for many years, we are already divorced, but we had an understanding only for our children." He also said, "Does anyone know, why my kids are in india and not going to school for 45 days, in which the school is sending me letters every day saying that they are absent for a very long time? My kid was last Held hostage for 45 days and missing his schooling in Dubai."

Alia wants 'more money, claims Nawazuddin

Nawaz further wrote “He had left the children in dubai for the last 4 months before calling them here on the pretext of demanding money. For the last 2 years, she is being given around 10 lakh rupees per month and 5-7 lakh rupees per month since she moved to dubai with the children. This does not include school fees, medical, traveling, and other expenses. I have even financed 3 of her films, costing me crores of rupees, just to help her establish her income stream, as she is the mother of my children. He was given luxurious cars for my children, but he sold them and spent the money himself. I have also bought a gorgeous sea-facing house in Versova, mumbai for my kids. alia was made co-owner of this apartment as my children are small. She further added, "She only wants more money and hence has filed several cases against me and my mother and this is her routine, she has done the same in the past and when the demand is met, she withdraws the case."
