Krishna Mukherjee reveals honeymoon plan, talks about the first meeting with husband Chirag

TV actress krishna Mukherjee shared how she met her husband on a cruise. The actress is happy that she has found a caring and understanding guy like Chirag Batliwala.

Television actress krishna Mukherjee, best known for her role in the tv show 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein', married Navy cadet Chirag Batliwala on 13 march 2023 in Goa. Now they have talked about their first meeting.

In a conversation with 'ETimes', she revealed their first meeting, saying, "I had gone on a holiday with my friends and met Chirag on a cruise. He was very nice, and caring, and became instant friends. We dated for almost a year. Nowadays you don't find boys who are so supportive and understanding. I am glad that I have found a good person in Chirag."

The wedding took place in goa in the presence of their family and friends. The actress is yet to know about her honeymoon destination. She shares, "Chirag has kept it a secret. We are happy that the marriage went well and soon we will be leaving for our honeymoon."

Describing how her husband jokes with her about cooking and making tea, she says, “I don't know how to cook non-veg food and my husband likes non-veg. Was joking about cooking. We were laughing at how cooking non-veg would be a big task for me. However, my in-laws are very supportive. My mother-in-law never once made me feel that I am a daughter-in-law, She treats me like her own daughter."

Krishna and Chirag married on 13 march 2023 according to bengali customs. For this, krishna wore a red and white lehenga with a red choli. Chirag, on the other hand, wore a white kurta-pajama teamed with a red dosha. Apart from this, he also carried the traditional bengali cap, mukut, and topor respectively. Overall the two looked like a match made in heaven in their marriage.

Krishna was last seen in Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein. She has been a part of many tv shows like 'Naagin 3', 'Shubh Shagun' and 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui'.  Krishna Mukherjee celebrated the festival of 'Navroj' with her husband, and was seen flaunting mangalsutra-chuda and vermilion.
