As the release date draws near, samantha has been actively promoting "Shaakuntalam". On april 14, the mythical fantasy movie will be released. samantha has already done numerous media interviews in hyderabad and mumbai and is currently promoting the movie all across India. She has adopted a contemporary style to appeal to North indian audiences, dressing in skirts, gowns, and jeans for promotional interviews in Mumbai. She has, however, worn a saree consistently in hyderabad throughout all talks.


She alone is aware of the motivation behind the "modern" appearance for North indian viewers; alternatively, it's possible that she wants to show them that she can dress stylishly. samantha Ruth Prabhu is presently busy promoting her film Shaakuntalam since she started working again. She is currently filming the indian episode of her upcoming online series Citadel, which also stars varun Dhawan.
