Rahul Dev, an actor who most recently appeared in the Disney+ Hotstar film Gaslight alongside sara Ali Khan, Chitrangda Singh, and Vikrant Massey, talked about the popularity of south indian movies despite their over-the-top action sequences and fanciful depictions. rahul recently shared his opinion that creativity can be conveyed in any medium and that films from the south are succeeding because of their captivating storytelling techniques and oversized characters.

Rahul acknowledged that bollywood has not used his ability to its fullest, but he went on to say that south indian films have over-the-top fight scenes and exaggerated characters, much like movies from the 1970s and 1980s. But he emphasised that what counts most is how the story is conveyed to and understood by the audience. He also said that because they target a particular demographic, commercial movies are not necessarily bad.

Rahul, who has appeared in movies such as Champion, Omkara, Torbaaz, and Raat Baaki Hai among others, most recently featured with Kiccha Sudeep, Upendra, and shriya saran in the kannada movie Kabzaa, which was released last month. rahul as an actor thinks the actor's current skill format is more natural, especially in the OTT space, and he hopes to land more difficult roles that will enable him to show off his skills.
