Superstar Rajinikanth has finished filming his scenes in Nelson Dilipkumar's "Jailer," which was produced by sun Pictures and features music by Anirudh. He is currently apparently enjoying a break at an ashram in Bengaluru, but he will return soon to begin filming for his daughter aishwarya Rajinikanth's upcoming film, "Lal Salaam."
According to reports, Rajini and the founders of Hombale Films, who funded the blockbuster international hits "KGF 1," "KGF 2," and "Kantara," met there and spoke with him for about an hour. The same sources claim that sudha Kongara, the top female director in tamil cinema, was also present at the meeting, leading to rumours that it might have been related to a new project.
Hombale Films has reportedly already expressed interest in working with Rajinikanth on a project, and they have already paid sudha Kongara an advance and declared it to be a first for indian cinema. We must wait to see how this intriguing possibility plays out in the future.
Thalaivar 170, which is produced by lyca productions and directed by T.J. Gnanavel of "Jai Bhim" fame, is Rajinikanth's follow-up film to his supporting performance in "Lal Salaam." According to rumours, kamal haasan and lokesh kanagaraj will most likely produce and direct Rajini's upcoming film, "Thalaivar 171."
