Q: Save The Tigers (STT) has gained so much popularity.

Mahi: First, I'd want to thank the crowd for their outstanding response! A fantastic team effort led to the result. Without the help of the Hotstar crew, this success would not have been achieved. A slice-of-life show about couples and their ongoing issues in relationships, Save The Tigers (STT) is a no-brainer. Our goal is to portray the hilarity that arises from a couple's disputes. This worked greatly in our favour because, in my opinion, this genre is unexplored in telugu OTT. Furthermore, we did not take a position on gender in any way. Thus, the enjoyment comes from the experiences you have in daily life.

Q: What upcoming projects do you have?
Mahi: In June, Hotstar will begin streaming my final web series, Shaitan. A crime drama, that is. 'Siddha..Lokam Ela Undi Nayana' is a movie I also directed. This drama is sarcastic.
