Acclaimed director Mysskin recently verified the rumors that lokesh kanagaraj would be directing a movie starring Superstar Rajinikanth. He also added a startling twist by speculating that it would be Rajinikanth's final movie. Mysskin lauded lokesh kanagaraj as an intriguing and outstanding filmmaker who is having a significant impact on the nation. He said that Rajinikanth personally approached lokesh kanagaraj about collaborating on a movie, however, he wasn't sure if that was the actor's final project.

Rajinikanth has finished filming 'Jailer,' which is currently in the post-production phase and set to debut on august 10 of this year. After that, he is anticipated to start working on T.J.
