Rajamouli's visual extravaganza prabhas became the biggest star in india because to Baahubali. 2017 saw the breaking of all previous records, as Baahubali 2 became the first indian film to debut with a 100-crore opening worldwide. Prabhas' popularity after Baahubali was so high that, despite receiving negative reviews, his subsequent movie, Saaho, likewise made $100 million globally on its opening day. 

He was unable to maintain his previous success, however, as radhe shyam failed to gross over $100 million on its first day. The lacklustre performance by radhe shyam prevented the hat trick of 100-crore openings from being completed. All eyes are now focused on Adipurush. It has the highest budget of Prabhas' career by a wide margin. The situation shifted as the initial unfavourable emotions subsided.

The scene is set for Adipurush to be the following major opening in indian cinema after the respectable trailer and two great songs. For the movie to surpass the $100 million mark, its hindi version must perform incredibly well. Will it surpass the 100-crore opening gross threshold? Time will only tell. The indian actors prabhas (Baahubali, Saaho), ntr and ram charan (RRR), Yash (KGF 2), Rajinikanth (2.0), and Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan) who have surpassed the 100-crore revenue opening day milestone.
