The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is the third part in the famous franchise of 'The Conjuring'. The third part is directed by Michael Chaves and the screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick from a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and james Wan. This is also the 8th movie overall in The Conjuring Universe franchise. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren.


The movie is based on the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, a murder trial that took place in 1981 in Connecticut. The movie was announced in 2017 and Michael Chaves was announced as the film's director, after previously directing The Curse of La Llorona. The movie will now release in cinemas as well as on the HBO Max Streaming service on june 4, 2021.



The movie got released in a special screening and the first set of reviews are out. Critics call the movie a massive tribute to the horror genre. Most of them call this movie a fantastic next chapter in the franchise and the movie has got so much heart and a love story at its core. Also, the movie has no shortage of scares.
