Senior actress Jayachithra's son Amresh Ganesh was arrested by the cops in a scam. The actor turned music director is said to have been arrested for being the main accused in a scam of 26.2 crores. Actress Jayachithra was one of the leading heroines of South india in the 70s and 80s. She starred opposite top heroes in telugu and Tamil.

Her son Amresh Ganesh made his movie debut in 2010 with 'Naane Ennul Illai' which did not do well at the box office.  He later turned into a music director and composed music for movies like 'Naane Ennul Illai', 'Motta shiva Ketta Shiva', 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal', 'Charlie Chaplin 2', 'Pottu' and 'Sathru'.

The latest news about the actor is that he and his friends scammed a businessman named Nedumaran and took a ransome of Rs. 26.2 crores from him. The victim is said to own bungalows and studios that he rents out to the film industry. Nedumaran has alleged that Amresh promised to deliver a temple Kalasam made of pure Iridium and took Rs. 26.2 Crores promising to return a huge rupees two and a half lakh crores.

Based on the complaint police arrested Amresh Ganesh and produced him to a judicial magistrate.  The arrest of the popular music director left the kollywood in shock.
