Dhanush gained notoriety lately when he confirmed his divorce from aishwarya Rai Bachchan, ending their 18-year relationship. On social networking sites, reports identifying the causes for the star's breakup are circulating. dhanush reportedly declined to visit superstar Rajinikanth, who happens to be Dhanush's ex-father-in-law. According to sources, Rajinikanth attempted to resolve the matter after learning that his daughter Aishwaryaa's wedding to dhanush was in jeopardy. 

However, dhanush shunned seeing Rajinikanth and kept away from the house out of reverence for the Thalaivar. dhanush and aishwarya will not be formally separated but will co-parent their kids yatra and Linga, according to sources. Meanwhile, friends and professionals have expressed their dismay at dhanush and Aishwarya's split, citing the couple's history of setting relationship objectives during their 18 years together.

One of the family friends revealed that it wasn't a shocking decision as they were expecting it for a long time as terms were not good between the couple for past few months. Even recently while hosting a birthday party, Aishwaryaa was seen alone and dhanush was not at all in the picture and he was in chennai at that time without any shooting or promotional campaign.
