A B Venkateshwar Rao, a senior IPS officer and the former head of Andhra intelligence, expressed outrage on wednesday at the jagan Mohan reddy administration's decision to terminate him from the service just ten days after accepting a position as commissioner of printing and stationery. Reporters were informed by him that he had not received any orders for suspension and had just seen them on social media. Despite the fact that an acb case was registered against him a year and a half ago, he acknowledged that no chargesheet had been submitted as of yet.

When there was no chargesheet filed and no hearing in the court, Venkateshwar Rao questioned how he could threaten or intimidate the witnesses. Evidently, some useless consultants or a retired official may have offered the administration such foolish advice, he remarked. The IPS officer demanded to know how the government could detain him under the same laws that the high court had declared unconstitutional. He emphasised that even the chief minister, Y S jagan Mohan reddy, was the subject of six chargesheets from the Enforcement Directorate and up to 12 cbi chargesheets.

"The cbi is investigating senior IAS official Y Srilakshmi as well. How can I be suspended if the rules for suspension do not apply to them? "He queried. Venkateshwar Rao asserted that he would refute every assertion made in the acb report and questioned how corruption could exist in the absence of any expenditure of money. They claimed to have written to israel but were unsuccessful, he said. He said that some people and government entities were seeking revenge on him.
