Shraddha Kapoor has also confirmed stree 2 in a new video, months after rajkummar rao said so. stree 2 is the sequel to the 2018 movie that was a part of Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy world. Stree's relationship with Bhediya has now been proven by Shraddha's appearance in the Bhediya song Thumkeshwari. Bhediya, played by varun Dhawan, is rumoured to make a brief appearance in stree 2.

"Super energy, it's really nice to be back on set," Shraddha can be heard saying in a behind-the-scenes video during the filming of Thumkeshwari. I'm quite excited since stree 2 will begin very, very soon. varun might also make a cameo appearance in stree 2, claims a Pinkvilla report. Fans couldn't thank varun and Shraddha and stree enough for bringing the film back enough after they both offered a preview of Thumkeshwari on Instagram. They applauded Shraddha's appearance in the song as she enters wearing the same outfit as Kriti Sanon, the lead actor of Bhediya.

"Your entry just burned everything," an admirer wrote." Another person described it as "Next level entry." Another supporter remarked, "This cameo holds every piece of my heart." VarShras, or the couple's supporters, lavished affection on varun and Shraddha. Additionally, it said, "Bhediya+Stree=bhaukaal!" Many people clamoured to watch a movie starring varun and Shraddha together. Dinesh Vijan previously disclosed that a stree prequel titled Mujha was also in production. In an interview with Pinkvilla from the previous year, he had stated, "So, we are working on a movie called Mujha, which is the prequel to stree and informs us about the girl who showed up in Stree. The stree sequel will take place sometime after it opens in theatres in September."
