After Ramarao On Duty's box office failure, Raviteja actually believed that taking a portion of the revenues would reduce the amount of money he would be able to keep for himself if the movie fails to perform well. The amount that drops as Ravi's share will be low because the producers won't make much money if the movie doesn't fare well. In light of this, he is alleged to have only requested payment for "Dhamaka" and not a profit-sharing arrangement.
Given that Dhamaka has now amassed approximately 96 crores in box office receipts in just 12 days of release, the celebrity would have easily made more than 25 crores at home had he chosen to share in the proceeds. However, he now only needs to make ends meet with the 15–18 crores in compensation he receives. It's called fate that his movies failed when he chose share deals, and it's now happening the other way around when he chooses not to take share arrangements.
