Thunivu is produced by famous bollywood producer boney kapoor through his own production company Zee Studios. Before this, he produced actor Ajith's films Nerakonda parvai and Valimai. But somehow boney kapoor didn't exactly give any funds for this Thunivu movie. Actor ajith has also left the shoot for a bike ride because of boney Kapoor's sudden brawl.
