Tourist fined for taking a selfie in front of Elephant..!?

However, this year due to reduced rainfall, only 1-2 km to Narasimharajapur town. A herd of wildebeests has invaded the distant Hiluvalli-Lingapur villages and has created anxiety among the townspeople.




Herd of 15 elephants: At night Vithala and Mudukur villages had destroyed the banana plantation. Later, the nut plantation belonging to Ramesh and Salim, located near the town, destroyed the coconut trees. Just 1 km from town on tuesday night. A herd of elephants entered the farm belonging to a farmer named raghavendra of Hiluvalli village and destroyed 250 banana trees and 15 to 20 walnut trees and went to the nearby forest before dawn. On hearing the news, the alert forest department sent the Elephant Task Force and drove away the elephants.




The Elephant Task Force has been called from Mudigere to Narasimharajapur for the past 1 week and this force has been camped here. As soon as they get the news that the wildebeests have arrived in the village, they go there and burst firecrackers and try to drive the wildebeests to the forest. However, a group of elephants, which stay in the forest during the day, enter some villages at night and eat nuts and bananas. So far it has not done any harm to humans. It is said that because it is the time of jackfruit, the wildebeests are also rushing for jackfruit. At least 25-30 km during the night. Officials of the forest department say that the wildebeests are walking far away.
