Kollywood's Thalapathy Vijay is presently engaged in the filming of 'GOAT,' directed by venkat Prabhu, which features a unique time-travel concept. The production team is working towards a june release for this eagerly anticipated film. Following 'Beast,' Vijay has been in talks for a project with DVV Danayya, the producer of the blockbuster 'RRR.'

Earlier speculations hinted at karthik Subbaraj, the director of 'Jigarthanda,' helming this Vijay-DVV Danayya venture. However, recent leaks suggest a potential change in the directorial choice. H. Vinod, known for directing movies such as 'Khaki,' 'Valimai,' and 'Tegimpu,' is now being considered for the project. The final decision on the director is yet to be confirmed.

Adding to the intrigue, reports suggest that this upcoming film might be a remake of last year's 'Bhagwant Kesari,' a movie that featured anil ravipudi and Balayya. The film revolves around the theme of women empowerment, a genre that suits Thalapathy Vijay, as demonstrated in his previous film 'Bigil.'

Vijay has reportedly expressed interest in remaking 'Bhagwant Kesari.' If this materializes, it will mark his 69th film, with shooting expected to conclude within this year. The film is anticipated to hit screens during sankranti the following year. DVV Danayya is said to have offered a substantial remuneration for this ambitious project. The official announcement regarding the director and other details is awaited.
