Kaithi 2 is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated sequels in the tamil film industry. Following the huge success of Kaithi, grossing over Rs 100 crore globally, its prequel is making waves even before its release. Actor karthi recently shared an update about the film during a public event. Actor karthi, who played the lead role of Dilli in the movie Kaithi, recently shared an important update about Kaithi 2 during an event. In Kaithi, Dilli is portrayed as a former prisoner on parole who helps officials in busting a drug syndicate.
During a recent event attended by karthi, the actor quoted the famous Dilli dialogue, stating, “Naa ulla irudhan nu mattum dhan sir theriyum, ella porathuku munnadi enna pannitu irundhan nu theriyadhula. Dilli will be back (You only know that I was in jail, but you don’t know what I was doing before that). We will start it next year.”
Written and directed by lokesh kanagaraj, the film stars karthi, arjun Das and narain in the leading roles. Kaithi 2 reveals Dilli’s backstory and how he becomes intertwined with other instalments. The film is produced by SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures. The cast of Kaithi also includes George Maryan and others.
