Popular bollywood actor rajpal yadav was recently released on interim bail and was seen attending his niece’s wedding, where videos of him went viral.

Amid renewed public attention, details of his long-standing legal dispute with businessman Madhav Agarwal have resurfaced.

Interestingly, Rajpal’s lawyer claims that amitabh Bachchan’s presence at a film event indirectly sparked the conflict.

🎤 What Happened at the music Launch?

According to Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer, Bhaskar, the issue began during a film music launch event in september 2012.

Amitabh Bachchan attended the event as a guest.

The complainant (loan lender) allegedly wanted to share the stage with Bachchan.

Rajpal’s team refused this request, stating that Bachchan was not attending as a favor or promotional obligation.

This reportedly angered the lender.

Soon after, a petition was filed in the delhi High court seeking a stay on the film’s release until dues were cleared.

In december 2012, Rajpal deposited his first cheque of ₹60,60,350, which was accepted.

💰 Loan Agreements and Financial Dispute

Madhav Agarwal had reportedly given rajpal yadav a ₹5 crore loan for film production.

Multiple agreements were signed between the two parties.

Rajpal issued five cheques as part of repayment.

Over time, the dispute intensified due to disagreements over payment terms.

In 2016, the court calculated total liability at ₹10.40 crore, including interest and penalties.

Rajpal had paid approximately ₹1.90 crore during this period.

The defense argued that the complainant reused old cheques despite a new agreement replacing the previous one.

⚖️ court Verdict and Ongoing Battle

In 2018, a court convicted rajpal yadav in the cheque bounce case.

He was fined ₹11.5 crore and sentenced to three months in jail.

His legal team challenged the ruling.

The case remains pending, and the legal battle continues.
