Ace director Maniratnam who is out of form for a long time is back once again with his 'Ok Bangaram'. The film starring Dulquer Salman and Nitya Menen is all set hit the screens this Friday (in Tamil as O Kadhal Kanmani). The movie has got U/A certificate from the Censor Board and here is the inside information about the movie from a person who watched the film.
The story line is about the live-in relationship that takes place between the lead pair Dulquer Salman, Nitya in Mumbai. Dulquer Salman was supposed to leave for abroad and meets Nithya Menon just before that. situations force them to live together in a house in Mumbai. The romantic episodes between the couple and the changes that take place later in their lives form the rest of the story.
Sources say that the film has a look and feel like Maniratnam’s earlier blockbuster “Sakhi”. They say that the movie is a complete “A” class film and has pace issues too. B and C centres will find it difficult to connect with the film. Have said that, Maniratnam fans may have to wait still long to see the ace director come back to winning ways. But we hope that we are proven wrong.
Dil Raju is releasing the film in Telugu. He had already charted good number of theaters for the movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
